Stir fry with broccoli

Ok, so this is by far the easiest recipe I make. It’s fast, has lot’s of healthy stuff and it just can’t fail.

It’s slightly based on Phad See Ew, but with plain broccoli instead of Chinese Brocolli.
So no need to stop by the Asian supermarket because all of these ingredienst are widely found in most grocery stores.


Stir fry with broccoli

Servings 1 person


  • 100 gram chickenbreast sliced
  • 1 clove of garlic chpped
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1.5 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tlsp oyster sauce
  • 70 gram rice noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 60 grams broccoli


  1. Cook the noodles according to instructions

  2. Meanwhile cut the broccoli in about thumbsized parts and blanch it then set aside.

  3. Heat the wok with the oil (high heat)

  4. Once the wok is hot, add the garlic and stir fry for a couple of seconds then add the sliced chicken

  5. When the chicken is fully cooked add the noodles and broccoli, quickly stir fry. Then push everything aside and crack the egg while quickly stirring it. When it's about 60% cooked, mix everything

  6. Now add the other ingredients, stir fry. Taste, you can always add some sugar for sweetness or fishsauce for saltiness.

    Then serve
